Happy Mothers Day

I lay in bed listening to the sounds of the raindrops hitting the window pane. I rolled over and checked the time on my bedside table. It read 8:15. It was safe to get up. I climbed out of bed and padded softly across the room to the bathroom. After splashing my face with cold water I decided to go downstairs and start on breakfast. But not mine. Definitely not mine. My stomach rumbled with the thought of breakfast and I realised I hadn’t eaten last night. But there was no time for that now. I would just have to be careful.

A man had stepped through one of the doors at the end of the room. The fact that I hadn’t noticed him until he was in the room said something about his power. Conner was tall, not as tall as Evan but still tall. His black hair was long and as dark as my own, braided so that it fell to hang behind him swaying a little at his hips. His eyes were a colour as unique as my own too. They were a grey that was almost silver, shiny and glinting so that it lit up when the light hit it. Happy Valentines NightThe cab pulled up outside of the building and I looked grimly outside the window. Thick, hard raindrops pelted against the glass pane and I sighed heavily. Why did Valentines Day have to be in such a dreary month? You’d think this day would be in July or August so that it was hot and sunny outside. But looking up at the black sky, I wondered if it would it be Valentine’s Night now, since the day had been over for hours and the sky was a dark velvet blue now?
It was chaos outside, the rain seemed as though it was attacking the wind and a war was going on; the trees looked as though they were trying to escape their roots. Happy Valentines Night

Violet's Kiss Ch5Grace led me up and we ended up standing in a dimly lit corridor. She started to make her way down but I stopped her with a hand.
‘Which room is she in?’ I asked her.
‘The one near the end, on the right.’
I moved ahead of Grace and started walking down the corridor. ‘Ok, I’ll meet you back here.’
I heard her footsteps a few seconds before she moved in front of me, stopping me.

She was frowning at me. ‘You’re kidding, right?’

Violet's Kiss Ch4Jess was a witch and she should have been able to look after herself. She was old enough and, as a witch, she definitely had the power. But remember how I said no powerful witch would ever become drunk and lose themselves to alcohol? Well, it wasn’t strictly true. There were some exceptions to that rule and Jess was one of them. Lately, her drinking had become worse but luckily there had been no major accidents. Only the odd few things blowing up before somebody took control. That somebody was becoming more often then not me. Grace was strong but not strong enough to stop Jess from doing any damage and – sometimes unfortunately Violet's Kiss Ch4

Too Damn Long

Mood: Wow!
Listening to: My mum cooking downstairs
Reading: So many books, it's getting ridiculous
Eating: Pretty soon the lasagne my mum is cooking

Wow, can't believe I haven't updated my journal for seven months. Well, I have been ridiculously busy and I am trés important so you can see why. But I'm back now and I uploaded a new chapter for Violet's Kiss so I hope you guys like that one.

On another note, I'm starting Uni in a week's time! I'm really excited about it too. I'm going to a uni which basically looks like Hogwarts come to life. It's like a huge castle in the middle of a forest! So I'll probably be a little busy but never fear, I shall try and keep on writing so that you guys can get your not so regular dose of Violet and Lily. Which reminds me, I'll try and give you guys some Lily and Ash soon too but I've been so buys writing other things as well (that I don't post on dA but other places online) that I haven't had time to look at it in a while, sorry

So, since this has just been a break in between the creative writing outburst that I've got going on right now

I'll write back soon.

Or maybe I won't.
